About ASICS
ASICS is the Japanese athletic brand founded in 1949, best known for running shoes with GEL cushioning, such as the GEL-Kayano and GEL-Nimbus lines.
What to expect at the ASICS outlet
- Running shoes are the main draw. Previous-season colourways of well-known models are the typical outlet find.
- Sportswear such as running tops, shorts and tights is usually on the rails beside the footwear.
- Lifestyle trainers (the retro GEL styles) appear too, but stock varies week to week.
Outlet stock changes every week. Exact items, sizes and prices are not guaranteed, so treat this as a guide to the type of stock, not a live inventory.
Tips for shopping ASICS at Kildare Village
- If you run regularly, bring your current running shoes so you can compare fit and model names.
- Try shoes on with the socks you run in; half a size matters more in running shoes than in casual trainers.
- Pair the visit with New Balance, Nike and adidas if you are comparing running shoes across brands.
